Planning Permission Granted for Modern Extension to Georgian Property.
Stanton Andrews Architects have recently secured planning permission for the remodelling and extension of a designated heritage asset in Bury.
The original Georgian house is nestled on the hillside within 4 acres of mature woodland.
Stanton Andrews Architects worked closely with local authority’s planning department and heritage consultants to develop a proposal that was both respectful and sympathetic to the original house, whilst also providing the contemporary living accommodation requested by their clients – a modern zinc extension which connects the existing house to the outbuilding, creating an open plan kitchen family room in the heart of the home.
