And, currently on the drawing board, this development of four new contemporary houses continues to deliver. The development is perched lightly in the landscape and represents a thoughtful dialogue between contemporary architecture and its rural setting.
A curated palette of natural stone, metal cladding and expansive glazing gives the architecture both permanence and elegance. Large openings and double-height spaces are designed to maximise daylight and frame panoramic views, creating homes that feel calm, connected and generous. The layout responds to the sloping site, with terraces, stone walls and layered landscaping allowing the buildings to settle seamlessly into the land.
From the outset, sustainability is embedded in the design process. The scheme explores fabric-first principles, passive performance strategies and the integration of low-carbon technologies, ensuring the homes are as efficient as they are beautiful.
